As the world outside slowly grows quiet, the lights on the Christmas tree begin to glow and the fire crackles in the fireplace, we come together in our meiZeit Lounge – our cosy living room, where we celebrate Christmas together on this very special evening.

For us, Christmas is about the time we share. Sitting around the table together, talking, laughing, enjoying good food and simply being there for one another. That is exactly the feeling we would love to share with you on Christmas Eve.

From our kitchen, we serve Soulfood to Share – made for discovering, tasting and enjoying together. Honest, fresh, full of flavour and prepared with passion. Familiar flavours meet unexpected ideas, wonderful aromas fill the lounge and dishes are passed around the table. Add a good glass of wine, lovely conversations and, above all, time.

Around the Christmas tree and the warmth of the crackling fire, Christmas Eve becomes a celebration of togetherness, good food and those little moments that matter. An evening when time is allowed to slow down and we can simply enjoy Christmas together.

Simply being together. Sharing and enjoying. And making time for what truly matters.

Christmas Magic at the Hofalm

A winter evening straight out of a storybook.

When torches light the snow-covered path, gentle music drifts through the crisp winter air and the Hofalm glows in warm light, the mountains above Filzmoos become a truly magical place.

The Christmas Magic at the Hofalm is one of our favourite experiences during Advent and Christmas. A beautifully illuminated trail leads through the snowy winter landscape, from the Oberhofalm and Unterhofalm all the way to the Almsee.

Along the way, you will discover a life-size Nativity scene, traditional Schiachperchten and local brass musicians playing atmospheric Alpine melodies. Warm up with mulled wine, punch or children’s tea, while the hosts of the mountain huts serve regional specialities.

And the experience can begin before you even arrive: one of the loveliest ways to reach the Hofalm is by horse-drawn sleigh through the snow-covered mountains of Filzmoos.

Christmas 2026 dates

The Christmas Magic takes place on 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 December 2026, from 5.00 to 8.00 pm.

The Taxi Jäger shuttle runs every 30 minutes between 5.00 and 9.00 pm. Alternatively, you can travel to the Hofalm by horse-drawn sleigh.

Admission is €7 per adult, and children up to the age of 12 are free.

Our meiZeit tip: Take your time. Ride up by horse-drawn sleigh, wander through the Christmas scenery at your own pace and simply enjoy this special winter evening without rushing.
